Geum 'Lemon Drops'
Geum 'Lemon Drops' is a charming herbaceous perennial producing masses of soft lemon-yellow flowers held above neat mounds of attractive green foliage. The cheerful blooms bring a gentle splash of colour to borders and cottage garden plantings from late spring into summer.
Its compact, clump-forming habit makes it ideal for the front of borders, mixed perennial displays and wildlife-friendly gardens. The lightly nodding flowers are carried on slender stems, creating movement and a naturalistic appearance that combines beautifully with grasses and other summer-flowering perennials.
Easy to grow and reliable, 'Lemon Drops' performs best in a sunny or lightly shaded position with moist but well-drained soil. Regular deadheading will encourage an extended flowering period and help maintain a tidy appearance.
