Geum 'Fireball'
Geum 'Fireball' is a striking, clump-forming perennial producing large, ruffled semi-double flowers from late spring into autumn. The warm orange-yellow petals are flushed with orange and finished with distinctive red edges, creating a vivid, fiery display.
The abundant flowers are carried on upright, branching stems above a mound of hairy, deeply divided green foliage. Their strong colour and long flowering season make 'Fireball' ideal for mixed borders and cottage gardens, while the blooms also attract pollinators and make excellent cut flowers.
Hardy and easy to grow, this showy geum performs best in full sun or partial shade and moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Regular deadheading encourages further flowers, while dividing established clumps every few years helps maintain healthy, vigorous growth.
