Euphorbia globosa
Euphorbia globosa is an unusual succulent with rounded to elongated green stems that form dense clusters as the plant matures. The fleshy, ribbed stems are covered with small raised markings and develop new growth from the tips, creating a wonderfully sculptural and characterful appearance that makes each plant slightly different.
Perfect for a sunny windowsill, conservatory or mixed succulent collection, Euphorbia globosa is an excellent choice for anyone looking for something a little more unusual. Euphorbia Care Sheet
Light: Give plenty of bright light with some direct sunlight. Good light encourages compact, healthy growth.
Water: Allow the compost to dry thoroughly between waterings, then water well and allow all excess moisture to drain away. Water very sparingly during winter.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a very free-draining cactus and succulent compost. Feed lightly during spring and summer with a suitable cactus and succulent feed.
Humidity: Normal household humidity is ideal. Avoid overly humid conditions and ensure good airflow around the plant.
Pruning and propagation: Little pruning is required. Propagate from offsets or stem cuttings, taking care with the irritating milky sap and allowing cut surfaces to dry before potting.
