Eryngium planum 'Magical Blue Lagoon' is a striking Sea Holly variety producing masses of metallic green and vivid blue flower heads held on strong silver-blue stems. As the season progresses, the intense colouring spreads further down the stems, creating a spectacular architectural display above the spiky silver-green foliage.
This long flowering perennial is perfect for sunny borders, prairie-style planting and gravel gardens where its bold texture and vibrant colour can be fully appreciated. The flowers are highly attractive to bees and butterflies and are also excellent for cutting or drying for long-lasting floral arrangements.
