Echeveria 'Red Ruby'
Echeveria 'Red Ruby' is a rosette-forming succulent grown for its fleshy leaves and rich red tones. The overlapping foliage creates a sculptural shape, adding colour and texture to indoor succulent collections.
Ideal for a bright windowsill, this Echeveria suits individual pots or displays alongside other succulents with similar growing requirements. Its water-storing leaves allow it to cope with dry periods, while free-draining compost and careful watering help keep the plant healthy.

Echeveria Care
Light: Provide bright light. Some direct sunshine is suitable once acclimatised; introduce stronger sunlight gradually to prevent scorching.
Water: Allow the compost to dry between waterings, then water thoroughly and let excess drain away. Avoid leaving water in the rosette or the pot standing in water.
Humidity: Normal household humidity is suitable. Misting is unnecessary; provide good air circulation.
Temperature: Keep above 10°C and protect from frost and cold draughts.
Feeding: Use a cactus and succulent fertiliser during active growth, following the manufacturer's instructions. Do not feed during winter rest.
Repotting: Use free-draining, peat-free cactus and succulent compost in a pot with drainage holes. Repot when the plant has outgrown its container.
Winter care: Keep in a bright, cooler position and reduce watering considerably, giving just enough to prevent excessive shrivelling.
