Dizygotheca elegantissima is a striking indoor plant with slender, deeply serrated leaves that emerge coppery-bronze and mature to deep green with fine, tooth-like edges. Dizygotheca Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but tolerates medium light. Avoid harsh direct sun, which may scorch the leaves.
Water: Keep soil lightly moist, watering when the top 2–3cm feel dry. Reduce watering slightly in winter.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a free-draining houseplant compost. Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced fertiliser.
Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity. Mist regularly or place near a humidifier.
Pruning & Propagation: Remove old or damaged leaves. Can be pruned to control height. Propagation is usually by seed or cuttings.
