Deutzia scabra 'Plena'
Deutzia scabra 'Plena' is a tall, vigorous deciduous shrub valued for its impressive size and showy summer display. Bushy growth of fresh green foliage provides a strong framework, from which large, dense clusters of double white flowers emerge, each delicately blushed with soft pink.
Flowering in early to mid-summer, this striking deutzia makes a dramatic statement at the back of borders or as a flowering screen. Its long-lasting blooms are excellent for cutting, while the plant itself is easy to maintain with simple pruning after flowering to keep it tidy and well-shaped.
