Delosperma echinatum, commonly known as the Pickle Plant, is a quirky and endearing succulent with small, cylindrical green leaves covered in fine, white bristles. The fleshy leaves resemble tiny gherkins, giving the plant its playful name.
Ideal for sunny windowsills or bright conservatories, the Pickle Plant thrives in well-drained soil and dry conditions. Its compact, branching form and small yellow blooms make it a distinctive addition to any succulent collection or decorative indoor display.

Delosperma Care Sheet
Light: Thrives in bright, direct light. A south- or west-facing window is ideal.
Water: Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water sparingly, especially in winter.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a gritty, well-draining cactus or succulent mix. Feed lightly once or twice during the growing season.
Humidity: Prefers dry conditions. Avoid high humidity and do not mist.
Pruning & Propagation: Trim back leggy stems to encourage compact growth. Propagates easily from stem cuttings.
