Delosperma cooperi 'Solstice Red' is a dazzling evergreen succulent perennial producing masses of vivid red daisy-like flowers throughout summer. The vibrant blooms sit above dense mats of fleshy green foliage, creating a bold carpet of colour that thrives in hot, sunny garden positions.
Perfect for rockeries, gravel gardens, raised beds and patio containers, this low-growing Ice Plant is exceptionally drought tolerant once established and flourishes in poor, free-draining soils. The bright flowers open fully in sunshine and provide an excellent source of nectar for bees and pollinating insects.
Easy to grow and requiring very little maintenance, this hardy Delosperma is ideal for edging pathways, spilling over walls or bringing long-lasting colour to dry garden areas where other plants may struggle.
