Daphne 'Aureomarginata' is a compact, evergreen shrub prized for its intoxicatingly fragrant winter flowers and striking foliage. From late winter into early spring, clusters of deep pink buds open to reveal wonderfully fragrant white flowers with a hint of pink blush and a powerful perfume that carries through the garden. Its glossy green leaves are edged with golden-yellow margins, adding year-round colour and interest.
Perfect as a specimen near paths, entrances, or seating areas where the fragrance can be fully appreciated, this variety prefers a sheltered spot in sun or partial shade with well-drained soil.
