Dahlia 'Bishop of York'
Dahlia 'Bishop of York' is a striking and much-admired dahlia, producing large apricot-orange flowers that stand out beautifully against its rich dark bronze foliage. The open-centred blooms are highly attractive to pollinators and bring warm, vibrant colour to the garden throughout the summer months.
Flowering continuously from midsummer until the first frosts, this reliable variety provides months of interest in borders, patio displays and cutting gardens. Its dramatic foliage creates an attractive contrast even before the flowers appear, making it a valuable ornamental plant throughout the growing season.
Ideal for adding bold colour and texture to mixed plantings, 'Bishop of York' also makes an excellent cut flower, with long-lasting blooms that brighten indoor arrangements. In colder regions, tubers should be lifted and stored frost-free over winter for replanting the following spring.
