Cymbidium 'Abbigail'
Cymbidium ‘Abbigail’ is an elegant orchid producing cascading stems of soft pink blooms with deeper rose markings and a vibrant yellow centre. Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Cool, bright conditions help encourage flowering. Avoid hot, direct afternoon sun
Water: Water thoroughly and allow slight drying between waterings. Keep evenly moist during active growth and reduce watering slightly in winter
Soil/Nutrition: Use a coarse orchid mix with bark and perlite. Feed every 2–3 weeks in spring and summer with orchid fertiliser; reduce in winter
Humidity: Enjoys moderate humidity. Good airflow is important—avoid misting the flowers directly
Pruning and propagation: Remove spent flower spikes once finished. Repot every 2–3 years in spring. Propagate by division during repotting
