Cyclamen hederifolium Purple
Cyclamen hederifolium Purple is a hardy, tuberous perennial producing elegant purple-pink flowers with swept-back petals from late summer into autumn. The flowers appear before or alongside the developing foliage, bringing colour to shaded areas at a quieter time of year.
After flowering, ivy-shaped leaves emerge in shades of green with variable silver marbling. The foliage forms an attractive winter carpet before naturally dying back during late spring and summer dormancy.
Ideal for naturalising beneath deciduous trees and shrubs, this cyclamen thrives in humus-rich, well-drained soil in partial or full shade. Once established, it can gradually form generous colonies.
