Cyclamen coum 'Album'
Cyclamen coum 'Album' is a hardy, tuberous perennial with delicate white flowers marked with purple at the base of each swept-back petal. The blooms rise above rounded, glossy dark green leaves, bringing fresh colour close to the ground.
Flowering in winter and early spring, it brightens woodland gardens, shaded borders and containers. Plant beneath deciduous shrubs or alongside snowdrops and hellebores, where it can gradually naturalise into small colonies.
Grow in partial shade in humus-rich, well-drained soil and mulch with leaf mould. The leaves die back naturally as the plant enters summer dormancy, so avoid excessive watering during this resting period and leave the tubers undisturbed.
