Cotinus coggygria 'Golden Lady'

Cotinus coggygria 'Golden Lady' is a compact deciduous shrub valued for its bright golden foliage and soft, smoky flower plumes. New growth emerges in warm orange tones during spring before developing into glowing golden-yellow leaves that retain their colour well through summer.

In summer, airy cream-coloured flower panicles appear on second-year wood, creating the characteristic hazy, smoke-like effect for which Cotinus is known. The flowers are attractive to bees and butterflies, while the luminous foliage brings warmth and contrast to mixed planting schemes.
