Clematis urophylla 'Winter Beauty'
Clematis 'Winter Beauty' is a striking evergreen climber that brings life and fragrance to the garden during the darkest months. From December to February it produces masses of pure white, nodding, bell-shaped flowers which contrast beautifully with its glossy green foliage. These blooms are lightly scented and provide a valuable nectar source for winter-active pollinators when few other plants are in flower.
Ideal for training against a sheltered wall, arch, or pergola, ‘Winter Beauty’ also performs well in large patio containers where its elegant flowers can be admired up close. In milder parts of the UK it is hardy and long-flowering, while in colder regions it benefits from winter protection to prevent frost damage. Reliable and graceful, it is a superb choice for adding year-round greenery and seasonal winter charm to the garden.
