Clematis tangutica 'Lambton Park'
Clematis tangutica 'Lambton Park' is a large, vigorous deciduous climber producing large nodding lantern-shaped bright yellow flowers with four pointed sepals from early summer to mid autumn. Silky seedheads develop while the plant is still flowering, so flowers and decorative seedheads can be present together for an extended display.
It is particularly well suited to large pergolas, fences, arches and robust supports where its vigorous growth has plenty of room.
Grow in full sun or partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Cut back hard in late winter or early spring if a controlled framework is required.
