Clematis jackmanii 'Tie Dye'
Clematis jackmanii 'Tie Dye' is a vigorous deciduous summer-flowering climber producing large violet-purple flowers dramatically marbled and splashed with white from summer to early autumn. Each bloom has an individual pattern, creating an eye-catching display that is very different from the more uniform colouring of traditional Clematis.
It is particularly well suited to pergolas, fences, walls and sturdy trellis where its vigorous growth has room to develop.
Grow in sun or partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Flowers are produced on new growth, so prune hard in late winter or early spring.
