Clematis jackmanii 'Star Of Pakistan'
Clematis jackmanii 'Star Of Pakistan' is a compact but vigorous deciduous climber producing single purple to violet flowers marked by a reddish-violet central stripe and creamy-yellow stamens from June to September. The bold bicoloured blooms are produced freely over a long season and retain their richest colouring when protected from the strongest midday sun.
It is particularly well suited to trellis, obelisks, fences and large patio containers.
Grow in sun or partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil, ideally with some afternoon shade to help preserve the flower colour. Keep the root area cool and evenly moist.
