Clematis jackmanii 'Forever Friends'
Clematis jackmanii 'Forever Friends' is a free-flowering deciduous climber producing white flowers softly flushed with pink or violet and finished with contrasting red stamens from early summer to early autumn. The clean pale flowers stand out strongly against green foliage, with early blooms forming on older stems and later flowers continuing on new growth.
It is particularly well suited to walls, fences, pergolas and trellis where its light colouring can brighten a sunny planting scheme.
Plant in a sunny position in fertile, moist but well-drained soil, shading the roots with neighbouring plants or mulch. Light annual pruning keeps the plant tidy and productive.
