Cherry 'Felicita'
Cherry 'Felicita' is a compact sweet cherry producing very large, glossy dark red fruits with firm, juicy flesh and a sweet, aromatic flavour. Cropping from a young age, it provides generous harvests for fresh eating and juicing.
White spring blossom is followed by fruit ready to pick from mid-July, while the green leaves develop orange and red autumn tones. Self-fertile, 'Felicita' produces fruit without a pollination partner and is well suited to smaller gardens and large patio containers.
Plant in a sunny, sheltered position in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Water regularly while establishing and during dry spells as the fruit develops, particularly in containers. Protect ripening cherries from birds if needed and carry out any necessary pruning in summer.
