Ceratostigma griffithii
Ceratostigma griffithii is an attractive semi-evergreen shrub producing vivid blue flowers against bristly green foliage edged with purple-brown. Its compact, bushy habit makes it an excellent choice for adding rich colour and texture to sunny planting schemes.
Clusters of intense blue flowers appear from late summer into autumn, extending the garden display as many earlier-flowering plants begin to fade. The foliage develops warm red and bronze shades in autumn, providing an additional season of interest.
Ideal for sunny borders, gravel gardens, banks and sheltered wall-side planting, Griffith's Plumbago thrives in moist but well-drained soil. It is easy to maintain and particularly effective when planted alongside late-flowering perennials and ornamental grasses.
