Calluna vulgaris 'Garden Girls Leandra'

Calluna vulgaris Garden Girls® 'Leandra'

Calluna vulgaris Garden Girls® 'Leandra' is an evergreen heather producing dense clusters of rich purple buds on strong, upright shoots. Its long-lasting autumn display contrasts beautifully with the fine green foliage, bringing colour and texture to seasonal planting schemes.

Part of the Garden Girls® collection, this bud-flowering variety retains its colour while the buds remain closed. Its bushy habit makes it ideal for patio pots, window boxes and the front of borders. Smaller plants are particularly useful for mixed hanging baskets and autumn containers alongside cyclamen, violas and trailing ivy.

Hardy and easy to maintain, 'Leandra' performs best in full sun with moist but well-drained acidic soil. Use ericaceous compost in containers and water regularly to prevent the roots drying out. A light spring trim helps maintain a neat, compact shape.
