Calluna vulgaris 'Garden Girls Elisa'

Calluna vulgaris Garden Girls® 'Elisa'

Calluna vulgaris Garden Girls® 'Elisa' is a compact evergreen heather producing masses of brilliant white flower buds above fresh, light green foliage. Its broad, bushy habit creates a full display, bringing brightness and finely textured interest to autumn planting schemes.

Part of the Garden Girls® Late Line, 'Elisa' is valued for its abundant buds and lasting seasonal colour. The buds remain closed, helping the display stay attractive for many weeks. Smaller plants work beautifully in patio pots, window boxes and hanging baskets, where the white colouring complements red and purple heathers, ornamental grasses and evergreen foliage.

Hardy and easy to grow, 'Elisa' also suits heather beds, rockeries and sunny border edges. Plant in moist but well-drained acidic soil, using ericaceous compost for containers. Water regularly while establishing and keep pots from drying out completely. Light trimming in spring helps maintain its dense shape and encourages fresh growth.
