Calluna vulgaris Garden Girls® 'Coco'
Calluna vulgaris Garden Girls® 'Coco' is a compact evergreen heather producing a dense display of bright white flower buds above finely textured green foliage. Colouring from October, its luminous buds bring freshness to autumn planting and remain attractive into December.
Part of the Garden Girls® NEXXT Late Line, 'Coco' has a neat, upright habit and a particularly long-lasting display. Its buds remain closed, helping preserve their colour through the season. Smaller plants are ideal for patio pots, window boxes and hanging baskets, combining beautifully with coloured heathers, ornamental grasses and winter foliage plants.
Hardy and easy to grow, 'Coco' also suits heather beds, rockeries and the front of sunny borders. Plant in moist but well-drained acidic soil, using ericaceous compost for containers. Water regularly while establishing and avoid allowing pots to dry out completely. Light trimming in spring helps maintain its bushy shape and encourages fresh growth.
