Calathea 'Silver Plate'
Calathea ‘Silver Plate’ is a striking foliage houseplant with broad, silvery-green leaves that shimmer softly in the light, sometimes showing delicate hints of pale pink. The undersides are a rich deep purple, adding contrast and interest as the leaves gently move and lift throughout the day.
Perfect for bright indoor spaces with indirect light, it brings a calm, contemporary feel to interiors and works beautifully as a feature plant on tables or plant stands. Its bold foliage and elegant colouring make it a standout in any indoor plant collection.

Calathea Care Sheet
Light: Plenty of indirect, bright light. Can tolerate some shade, but colour may fade. Keep above 15°c, and away from drafts
Water: Keep soil damp at all times, but not soggy. Water little and often, and allow excess water to drain
Soil/Nutrition: Well-draining houseplant potting mix, feed monthly in spring and summer
Humidity: Thrives in high humidity, so mist regularly, or place on a pebble tray to increase humidity. Also an ideal bathroom plant
Pruning and propagation: Remove old, faded leaves and keep mature leaves dust free by wiping with a damp cloth. Propagate via root divisions in spring and summer
