Calathea rufibarba is a beautifully textured houseplant with long, narrow, gently arching leaves in rich green, complemented by deep burgundy undersides. The soft, slightly furry leaf stems give it its nickname “Furry Feather,” adding an extra tactile quality to its elegant, flowing form.
Perfect for bright indoor spaces with indirect light, it brings a relaxed, tropical feel to rooms and works wonderfully on shelves or as a statement tabletop plant. Its graceful foliage adds movement and softness to plant displays.

Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Avoid direct sunlight which can fade or scorch leaves
Water: Keep compost consistently moist but not waterlogged. Use filtered or rainwater where possible

Humidity: Requires high humidity and thrives in kitchens, bathrooms or grouped plant displays
