Begonia ‘Sherwood Forest’
Begonia ‘Sherwood Forest’ is an elegant cane-style begonia prized for its long deep green leaves decorated with shimmering silver spots. The foliage has a refined tropical appearance, with gently arching stems that create a lush, layered display perfect for bright indoor spaces.
Its striking spotted foliage contrasts beautifully against darker houseplants and adds texture and movement to shelves, bathrooms and kitchen displays. In the right conditions, mature plants may also produce delicate pale pink flowers held above the foliage.

Begonia Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid strong direct sunlight which may scorch the foliage and fade the silver spotting.
Water: Keep compost lightly moist but never waterlogged. Allow the top layer of compost to dry slightly between watering.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a light, airy and free-draining compost mix with added bark or perlite. Feed every 2–4 weeks during spring and summer.
Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity and warm temperatures. Ideal for bathrooms, kitchens or grouped tropical displays.
Pruning and propagation: Trim leggy stems to maintain a bushier shape. Stem cuttings root easily in water or moist compost.
