Azalea indica 'Franziska'
Azalea ‘Franziska’ is a beautifully flowering indoor azalea known for its abundant ruffled blooms in rich shades of pink, set against dense, glossy green foliage. Flowering generously in late winter and spring, it brings a welcome burst of colour and brightness to indoor spaces during the darker months.
Thriving in cool, bright rooms away from direct sunlight, this elegant variety is ideal for living rooms, conservatories, or well-lit hallways. Its compact shape and vibrant blooms make it a perfect centrepiece for seasonal displays or for adding colour to shelves and tabletops.

Indoor Azalea Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid strong direct sunlight which can scorch leaves and shorten flowering.
Water: Keep soil evenly moist at all times—never allow it to dry out completely. Water with soft, tepid water if possible. Do not let the pot sit in standing water.
Soil/Nutrition: Requires an acidic, ericaceous potting mix. Feed every 2–3 weeks in spring and summer with a fertiliser formulated for acid-loving plants.
Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity. Ideal for cooler rooms. Avoid placing near radiators or draughts.
Pruning and propagation: Remove spent flowers promptly to encourage further blooming. Lightly prune after flowering to maintain compact shape.
