Aster tongolensis 'Berggarten'
Aster tongolensis 'Berggarten' is a charming, clump-forming perennial producing large, starry violet-blue flowers with warm orange-yellow centres from late spring into early summer. Its early flowering season brings a welcome splash of colour to borders before many other asters begin to bloom.
With a tidy, compact habit, this eye-catching perennial is ideal for the front of sunny borders, rock gardens, and relaxed cottage-style planting schemes. The open, daisy-like flowers are also highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
