Aster asperulus
Aster asperulus is a charming, late-season perennial producing masses of small, daisy-like lavender-blue flowers with bright yellow centres. Flowering from late summer into autumn, it provides valuable colour when many other plants are fading.
Forming a neat clump of green foliage, this easy-to-grow plant is ideal for borders, cottage gardens and naturalistic planting schemes. Highly attractive to bees and butterflies, it thrives in full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil.
