Amaryllis 'Premiere'
Amaryllis ‘Premiere’ opens into large, double dark red flowers with rich, velvety petals layered to create a full and dramatic bloom. The deep colouring gives this variety a luxurious, festive feel, making it a beautiful centrepiece during winter and early spring.
Originating from Holland, this bulb blooms more quickly than many traditional varieties, making it a wonderful choice for forcing indoors. Amaryllis ‘Premiere’ is ideal for elegant seasonal displays, gifting, or adding warm, bold colour to living spaces throughout the colder months.

Amaryllis Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light while growing. After flowering, move to a sunny spot to encourage leaf growth and bulb strength
Water: Water sparingly until new growth appears, then keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Reduce watering once flowering ends
Soil/Nutrition: Plant in a well-draining bulb compost or peat-free mix. Feed fortnightly with a high-potash fertiliser once the flower buds appear
Humidity: Average household humidity is fine. Avoid misting the blooms directly
Pruning and propagation: Remove spent flowers and allow foliage to die back naturally before storing the bulb in a cool, dry place for dormancy. Propagate by offsets when repotting
