Alocasia 'Amazonica'
Alocasia ‘Amazonica’ is a stunning tropical houseplant admired for its dramatic arrow-shaped foliage. The glossy deep green leaves are beautifully highlighted by bold white veining and elegantly rippled edges, while rich burgundy undersides provide an extra layer of colour and contrast, making this one of the most striking foliage plants for the home.
Ideal for bright rooms with plenty of indirect light, it makes a superb statement plant for living rooms, bedrooms or offices. Keep it away from cold draughts and sudden temperature changes, where it will reward you with lush, architectural foliage that brings a contemporary tropical feel to any space.

- Useful to know: Toxic if ingested - keep away from pets and children. Alocasia may become dormant during winter and temporarily lose leaves

Alocasia Care Sheet
Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and keep away from cold draughts
Water: Keep the compost evenly moist during active growth but never waterlogged. Reduce watering during winter dormancy
Soil/Nutrition: Use a free-draining aroid compost rich in organic matter. Feed every 2-4 weeks during spring and summer
Humidity: Prefers high humidity and thrives in bathrooms, kitchens or when grouped with other houseplants
Pruning and propagation: Remove yellowing or damaged leaves at the base. Propagate by division when repotting
