Allium 'Serendipity'
Allium 'Serendipity' is an exceptional ornamental allium selected for its attractive bluish-green foliage and refined summer flowering display. Discovered as a natural mutation of the popular Allium 'Millenium', it combines the same reliability and garden performance with distinctive foliage that provides colour and structure long before the flowers appear.
From mid to late summer, neat globes of rosy-purple flowers measuring around 4-5cm across are held above the foliage on sturdy stems. The perfectly rounded flowerheads create strong architectural lines in borders and gravel gardens, while their long-lasting nature ensures weeks of colour during the height of the season.
Highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects, 'Serendipity' is easy to grow and remarkably low maintenance. The flowers are excellent for cutting and arranging, while the plant's natural rabbit resistance and award-winning performance make it a dependable choice for sunny gardens.
