Alcea 'Chater's Yellow'
Alcea 'Chater's Yellow' is a classic hollyhock producing tall spires of fully double, peony-like yellow flowers throughout summer. The large blooms are carried on strong upright stems, creating height, colour and a traditional cottage garden feel in borders.
This hardy perennial is ideal for planting towards the back of sunny borders where its tall stems can provide structure and vertical interest. Easy to grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil, it attracts butterflies and works beautifully in informal and cottage-style planting schemes.
