Albuca spiralis ‘Frizzle Sizzle’
Albuca ‘Frizzle Sizzle’ is a wonderfully quirky bulbous succulent grown for its unique corkscrew-like foliage. Each narrow green leaf twists into tight spirals, creating an eye-catching sculptural effect that makes this plant a true conversation piece for sunny windowsills and indoor plant displays.
During late winter and spring, mature plants produce upright flower spikes carrying fragrant yellow-green flowers with a light vanilla scent. Compact and easy to care for, this unusual South African species thrives in bright conditions and develops the tightest curls when grown in plenty of sunlight.

Albuca Care Sheet
Light: Requires very bright light or direct sun for the tightest leaf curls. A sunny south or west-facing windowsill is ideal.
Water: Water moderately during active growth, allowing compost to dry slightly between watering. Reduce watering significantly during summer dormancy.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a very free-draining cactus or succulent compost with added grit or perlite. Feed lightly once a month during active growth.
Humidity: Prefers average household humidity and good airflow. Does not require misting.
Pruning and propagation: Remove spent flower stems and old foliage once dormant. Propagate by bulb offsets when repotting.
