Agave potatorum 'Ouhi-Raijin Variegata'
Agave ‘Ouhi-Raijin Variegata’ is a rare and highly decorative variegated agave forming compact, symmetrical rosettes of thick, sculptural leaves edged with contrasting cream to pale yellow variegation. The powdery blue-green base colour and sharply defined margins give the plant a bold, architectural presence, making it a prized collector’s specimen.
Slow growing and strikingly geometric, this agave is perfect for bright indoor spaces such as sunny windowsills, conservatories, or minimalist plant displays. Its sculptural form adds strong visual structure while remaining low maintenance when provided with plenty of light and excellent drainage.

Agave Care Sheet
Light: Requires bright, direct light for best growth. Ideal for south-facing windows or conservatories.
Water: Water when soil has dried out completely. Very drought tolerant. Reduce watering in winter.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a gritty, free-draining cactus or succulent mix. Feed once or twice during the growing season with a low-nitrogen fertiliser.
Humidity: Prefers dry air. Avoid humid conditions and do not mist.
Pruning & Propagation: No pruning needed. Propagates from offsets if produced, or seed with difficulty.
