Achillea millefolium 'Little Moonshine'
Achillea millefolium 'Little Moonshine' is a compact, clump-forming perennial producing flattened clusters of bright yellow flowers above finely cut, grey-green aromatic foliage. A smaller-growing form of the popular 'Moonshine', it provides the same strong flower colour on a much neater plant.
Flowering from June to September, 'Little Moonshine' is attractive to butterflies and other pollinating insects and makes an excellent addition to sunny borders, gravel gardens and cottage-style planting. The flowers are also useful for both fresh and dried arrangements.
Best grown in full sun in well-drained soil, this tough perennial performs particularly well in dry or moderately fertile conditions and is drought tolerant once established. Cutting back after the first flush of flowers will help encourage further blooming and maintain a compact, tidy habit.
