Acer rubrum 'Brandywine'
Acer rubrum 'Brandywine' is a striking deciduous tree, admired for its brilliant autumn colour and elegant form. Through spring and summer, it carries dark green leaves with a neat, symmetrical shape. As autumn arrives, the foliage transforms into vibrant shades of bright red and rich purple, creating one of the longest-lasting autumn displays among red maples.
With its upright, oval habit, ‘Brandywine’ is an excellent choice as a specimen tree, street tree, or feature in larger gardens where its dazzling seasonal colour can be fully appreciated. Tolerant of a wide range of soils, including slightly wet conditions, it is a hardy and low-maintenance choice that delivers reliable performance year after year.
