This medium sized semi-evergreen wall shrub, native to Brazil, has delicate green foliage, producing red and yellow lantern-type flowers on slender stems in summer and autumn. As a half-hardy plant, Abutilon megapotamicum thrives against a warm wall with protection from cold winds and frost.
