Abutilon megapotamicum is a graceful semi-evergreen wall shrub native to Brazil, producing distinctive lantern-shaped flowers with red calyces and bright yellow petals. The blooms hang delicately from slender stems above soft green foliage, creating an elegant display through summer and autumn.
This half-hardy shrub thrives when trained against a warm, sunny wall where it is sheltered from cold winds and frost. Its arching habit and long flowering season make it an excellent choice for sheltered borders, courtyard gardens and wall training.
