Abies procera 'Glauca' is a striking upright conifer admired for its vivid blue needles, which retain their exceptional colour throughout the year. Its strong central leader and tidy pyramidal habit create an impressive architectural feature.
As the tree matures, attractive upright cones may develop among the branches, adding further ornamental interest. The intensely coloured evergreen foliage provides lasting structure and contrasts beautifully with green conifers and flowering shrubs.
Hardy, reliable and easy to grow, 'Glauca' performs best in full sun and deep, moist but well-drained soil. Its vigorous growth makes it ideal as a specimen tree in larger borders, lawns and conifer collections.
