Hedera helix 'Mint Kolibri'
Hedera helix 'Mint Kolibri' is a decorative evergreen ivy with small, lobed leaves marbled in creamy white and mint-green. Its softly coloured foliage brings brightness to shaded planting and provides an attractive contrast with darker evergreens throughout the year.
Its compact, branching growth makes the smaller pot sizes particularly useful in hanging baskets, window boxes and mixed containers. The trailing stems soften pot edges and complement flowering plants, while established plants can provide groundcover or be trained onto small supports.
Hardy and easy to grow, 'Mint Kolibri' performs well in sun or partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. It also tolerates shade, making it useful beneath shrubs and in sheltered garden corners. Trim back longer shoots as needed to keep the growth neat and maintain a balanced container display.
