Doryopteris pedata
Doryopteris pedata is an unusual indoor fern with slender upright stems topped by distinctive maple-like leaves, creating a light and architectural silhouette. The elegant, divided foliage gives it a refined appearance, offering something a little different from more traditional fern varieties while still bringing soft, natural texture indoors.
It works beautifully in bright, indirect light where its unique leaf shape can be appreciated up close, such as on shelves, desks, or within mixed foliage displays. Ideal for adding a fresh, calming feel to living spaces, its airy structure helps soften interiors without feeling heavy or dense.

Light: Does best in bright, indirect light or partial shade, as too much direct light can burn the leaves. Keep away from draughts
Water: Keep soil moist in the growing season by watering regularly, and allowing excess water to drain away
Soil/Nutrition: Well draining, houseplant potting mix. Feed during the growing season every two weeks
Humidity: Requires a high level of humidity to survive. Keep in the bathroom, mist regularly, or grow as part of a terrarium
