Chaenomeles 'Crimson and Gold' is a stunning deciduous shrub that produces a dazzling display of crimson-red flowers with golden-yellow centres in early spring. The vibrant blooms appear on bare branches before the foliage, providing early nectar for bees and pollinators. As the seasons progress, the shrub develops fragrant, apple-like quince fruits in autumn, which can be used in jam-making or left for wildlife.
