Acer palmatum 'Trompenburg' is a striking Japanese Maple forming an elegant, upright shape with dramatic foliage interest throughout the seasons. Deeply lobed, finely serrated purple-red leaves emerge in spring, holding rich colour before developing green tones in summer and finishing with vibrant crimson-red shades in autumn.
Its refined structure and relatively compact growth make it an excellent focal point for small gardens or large containers. For the best foliage colour and leaf quality, plant in a sheltered position away from harsh midday sun.
