Viburnum x bodnantense 'Charles Lamont' is a large deciduous shrub valued for its highly fragrant winter flowers. Dark purple buds open into clusters of soft pink blooms, creating a beautiful display during the colder months.
Flowering from winter into spring, 'Charles Lamont' brings valuable colour and fragrance to the garden when few other shrubs are in bloom. Bronze-tinted foliage emerges in spring before maturing to fresh green, while inedible black berries may follow in late summer.
