Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum 'Kilimanjaro Sunrise'
Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum 'Kilimanjaro Sunrise' is a striking deciduous shrub with a strong, upright tiered habit that gives it a refined, architectural presence in the garden. From late spring into early summer, its horizontal branches are smothered in elegant white lace-cap flowers, creating a dramatic layered effect.
As the season progresses, the blooms give way to clusters of deep red berries which gradually darken to black in autumn, providing valuable interest for wildlife. The foliage also puts on a superb autumn display, turning rich shades of red and bronze before falling. Easy to grow and highly ornamental, this viburnum is ideal as a specimen shrub, in mixed borders, or as a structural focal point.
