Viburnum davidii
Viburnum davidii is a compact evergreen shrub valued for its bold, leathery dark green leaves, each marked with distinctive deep veining that gives the plant a strong architectural presence. In spring, clusters of small white flowers appear, providing subtle seasonal interest and attracting pollinators.
These blooms are followed by striking metallic-blue berries on female plants, which persist for much of the year and add valuable colour outside the flowering season. Ideal for low hedging, ground cover or year-round structure in borders, Viburnum davidii thrives in sun or partial shade and is easy to grow with minimal maintenance. Its stems can also be used to add texture and form to cut flower arrangements.
