Veronicastrum virginicum 'Red Arrows'
Veronicastrum virginicum 'Red Arrows' is a graceful, upright perennial producing densely packed spires of vibrant pinky-purple flowers above attractive green foliage. Its elegant vertical habit brings height, structure and movement to borders throughout the summer months.
Flowering from July to August, the slender flower spikes are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinators. The long-lasting blooms also make excellent cut flowers, adding height and texture to fresh floral arrangements.
Thriving in full sun or partial shade with well-drained soil, 'Red Arrows' is easy to grow and fully hardy. It blends beautifully with ornamental grasses and other late summer perennials, making it an excellent choice for cottage gardens, prairie-style planting and mixed herbaceous borders.
