Taxus x media 'Stefania'
Taxus 'Stefania' is a compact, evergreen Conifer with a strong, upright habit and dense, symmetrical growth. Its lush, dark green needles form a tidy, columnar structure that maintains fullness from base to tip, giving it an elegant and architectural appearance throughout the year. The young foliage emerges bright yellow and turns yellow-green as it matures, with yellow margins.
Fast-growing yet well-behaved, ‘Stefania’ is ideal for formal hedging, screening, or as a striking vertical accent in borders and mixed plantings. Hardy, shade-tolerant, and long-lived, it thrives in well-drained soil and responds well to pruning, making it easy to maintain crisp lines and defined shapes.
